More Questions About Facials, Answered

Renova’s facials are unique because of our customization. Each aesthetician will customize the facial to the needs of the guest. We offer a 60- and 90-minute facial that consists of your traditional facial components: cleansing, toning, extractions, exfoliation, massage (face/neck/décolleté/shoulders) and

  • Cleansing: for the removal of impurities trapped in the pores. A customized cleanser is massaged over the face, neck & décolleté then removed with a warm towel and/or damp sponges.
  • Toning: To add hydration or additional detoxification to the pores. Depending on the formula of the toner will depend on how it may be used; applied to the skin with a cotton pad or misted on from an atomizer bottle.
  • Extractions: the removal of impurities from the pores. Extracting a milia (whitehead) or a comedone (blackhead) from a pore to clear any bacteria causing the eruption.
  • Massage: A customized massage over the décolleté, shoulders, neck and face for 12-15 mins. Boosting relaxation and stress relief.

Masque: a masque is layered onto the décolleté, neck & face for a suggested amount of time, depending on the type of masque and the guests skin type. Masque’s are beneficial in a facial as well as at home. They can add extra hydration into the skin, calm redness/irritation or draw excess oils out of clogged pores.

Our 90 minute Renova facial will have an added dermaplane or microdermabrasion into the treatment.

Why dermaplane?

Dermaplane uses a rounded blade to glide over the skin for the removal of vellus hair ,also known as peach fuzz. Along with giving the skin an exfoliation of dead surface cells. Leaving the skin glowing!

Why microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion uses a light suction/vaccum with a diamond tipped wand to remove dead surface cells. Leaving a softer texture to the skin and a brighter glow.

A guest may also choose to add additional massage on to their facial if they want a foot to knee massage or would like to incorporate massage into their HydraFacial.

HydraFacial is another type of facial we offer for dehydrated skin using hyaluronic acid and customized boosters to brighten and rehydrate the skin. The HydraFacial treatment also includes a dermaplane or microdermabrasion.

If you are not sure which treatment is best for you, any of these facials are for all skin types, however you should schedule a complimentary VISIA Skin Analysis prior to or with your facial. The VISIA camera allows us to see any signs of aging that you can not see to the naked eye and helps best determine which treatment you may need to start with.
